On January 1, 2014, Studio Unknown gained a new partner and financial manager. Steven Jones, an independent business and financial consultant, has worked with the company since early 2013, resolving a number of financial and operational issues. With his guidance, the company has grown in clientele, revenue, leadership and manpower. We are proud to announce that Steve has joined both Kevin Hill and Jaime Horrigan, as the newest partner. Steve will head up finance and marketing for the studio.
Steve brings with him almost 40 years of experience in the financial services profession. After joining the John Hancock Companies in the mid-seventies, Steve went on to establish Practice Planning Consultants, a financial consulting firm for physicians. In 1983, he merged the firm with Madison Financial Group, a financial advisory firm serving a broader clientele of professionals, business owners and executives throughout the New York Metropolitan area. In 2003, Steve co-founded Newroads Financial Group as senior partner, serving that same clientele. In 2008, Steve sold his interest in the firm and retired to consult business owners on a part time basis.
Steve and his wife, Pam, live in Baltimore and have three grown children. His oldest daughter, Stacie Jones Gentzler, a producer and production manager, is a member of Studio Unknown’s Board of Advisors. Steve is also a musician and loves to paint in his spare time.
